A $50 USA Steam card pays $38.00 today. Pick your card's region and value above, submit the code, and after a check of 24 to 72 hours on business days the amount is in your balance. Withdraw it free in crypto from $5.
Steam Wallet codes are the most common unused gift card among gamers: a birthday present for a game you already own, a card bought before a sale ended, or credit in a currency your account isn't set to. Steam doesn't pay wallet codes out in cash, but you can sell an unused one. This page shows what each region pays and how to sell without a rejected code.
What a Steam card pays by region
A Steam Wallet code only works in the currency it was made for, so what it pays depends on its region. Find the region on the back of the card or in the email that came with the code.
| Region | Card values | Example | You get |
|---|---|---|---|
| $5 to $200 | $50 | $38.00 | |
| €5 to €100 | €50 | $41.43 | |
| £5 to £100 | £50 | $50.90 | |
| CA$5 to CA$50 | CA$50 | $23.61 | |
| MX$100 to MX$1000 | MX$1000 | $35.13 | |
| HK$100 to HK$500 | HK$500 | $43.33 |

What happens during the check
Every code is checked with the issuer before anything is credited. Codes are encrypted the moment you submit them, only the staff who process orders can see them, and they are deleted 30 days after the order is done. If a code is valid, the locked amount goes to your balance. If it isn't, you see the reason and pay nothing.
Why Steam codes get rejected
The most common reason is the wrong region: a European card picked as US, or the other way round. The second is a code that was already added to a wallet, sometimes by the person who gave it to you. If a code is rejected you pay nothing and see the reason in your order.
Get the most for your card
Sell soon after you know you won't use the card: rates follow the market and can move. Pick the right region the first time, since a mismatch is the most common reason for a rejection. And choose a payout network your wallet supports; crypto sent on the wrong network can't be undone.
Steam card questions
My card is from Europe but my Steam account is in the UK. Can I sell it?
Yes. Pick Europe as the region: what counts is the region of the card, not your account.
Can I sell Steam Wallet balance that is already on my account?
No. Once a code is added to a wallet it can't be moved or sold. We only buy codes that haven't been redeemed.
Do you buy Steam game keys too?
Yes, under Game keys in the sell form. A key pays a fixed price per game, and Steam keys need the purchase receipt.
How long until I'm paid?
We check every code with the issuer, which usually takes 24 to 72 hours on business days. Once the card is credited you can withdraw, and payouts go out in the same window.
Can I sell several cards at once?
Yes. Paste several codes into one order. New accounts can sell up to $250 a day; the limit grows with every card that clears.
What happens if my code is rejected?
Nothing is credited and nothing is charged. You see the reason in your order, for example a code that was already used or a card from another region.
